America’s sweetheart, she ain’t. Michelle McGee is covered in tattoos – one on her forehead reads, “Pray for Us Sinners” – works as a stripper, chats and poses on an adult Web site, and uses a lewd phrase for her Twitter page. Her nickname is “Bombshell.”

A San Diego-based tattoo model, McGee claimed to have had a months-long affair with Jesse James, the husband of recent Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock.

In a statement to PEOPLE, James says the “vast majority” of the allegations are “untrue and unfounded,” but he also apologized to his wife and children “for my poor judgment.” Bullock left the family home just days before the allegations surfaced, a source tells PEOPLE.

Hard-Partying Lifestyle?

Who is Michelle “Bombshell” McGee? What little she’s said about herself comes from the most unreliable of sources: profile blurbs and videos on adult and edgy Web sites. But one thing is constant: she projects the image of a woman with a hard-partying lifestyle.

On SoCalGlamourGirls, where users can pay to see her on a Web cam or chat with her, McGee’s page says: “Sure, I get really wild in the sack with my men, but I’m actually a graduate student in college looking for the right sugardady [SIC] to teach me and be my sexy mentor.”

McGee, whose age is listed as 24, claims she has a bachelor’s degree in biology and finished two years of medical school. “Now, I especially love to have affairs with doctors,” her page reads. “Their medical talk makes me hot! I love to be challenged, and I love to put know-it-all doctors in their place.”

Other online photos of McGee show her in various semi-nude poses. In one, she’s eating candy hearts from a pink dog bowl; one on the home page of her Web site shows her standing in heels and underwear in a coffin. Another photo shows her getting one of her buttocks tattooed.

On the SoCalGlamourGirls’ site she claims to be French-Canadian. But in an Internet video highlighting a tattoo contest, McGee said she “grew up Amish” with “very conservative” parents who “don’t talk to me, but it’s okay – I have good friends.” McGee said she got her first tattoo at age 15, then “left the church when I was 16 years old and never looked back. I moved out to California and I got tattooed, never looked back.”

Another Side to Her

But some say there’s another side to her. On her Twitter page, which has an unprintable moniker, in between posts about stripping at the Platinum club in San Diego, are reference s to her children. People have said she spoke of two sons who she doted on.

“She was very down-to-earth, very friendly … very easy to talk to and very likable,” says Rich Peterson, owner of Konformity Clothing, for which McGee modeled in exchange for clothes, including some in child sizes, apparently for her kids.

Danielle Medrano, founder of SoCalGlamourGirls.com, says McGee mentioned after a photo session last summer that she was dating James.

“She definitely told me they had good chemistry and they got along really well and he was super duper sweet,” says Medrano. But what McGee most talked about were her own children.

“She lives for her children, she loves them and is very close with them,” says Medrano. “I can tell you she loves them. When she started working for me she bought her boy a hairless cat. [She said:] ‘It was cute, look at him, isn’t he cute, he’s great with her kids.’ “

In the United Arab Emirates, it is illegal to engage in an extramarital affair, and though the sexts were not enough to convict them of an actual affair, they were still given three months in prison for planning to “commit sin.”

Some people never learn!

Before she was Snooki, Nicole Polizzi was charged in connection with the death of teen Michael Truncali in 2004. She was criminally charged with selling alcohol to minors at a party at her house (aka Prohibited Sale of Alcoholic Beverages).

Later that night, Michael died in a drunk driving accident with a blood alcohol level of .18 – twice the legal limit! He rolled his Mazda in the early hours after getting drunk at the house of Helen Polizzi, Snooki’s mom.

And her mom was there the whole time!

Of Snooki’s mom, Marlboro Police Chief Stephen Fajfer said “She cooperated. She came in willingly and spoke to us several times about the incident.”

However, Michael’s parents don”t think the entire truth about that night has been uncovered and have conflicting feelings toward Snooki.

“She doesn’t care about what happened to our son,” said the victim’s mother, Michelle. “We’re not out to trash Nicole. I never blamed her for what happened, she was a 16-year-old (sic). I blame others. I am not looking for those people to get arrested, I just want the truth.”

Michelle has attempted to watch Jersey Shore, but said she couldn’t take it anymore as it appears to “glorify” alcohol consumption.

“I just don’t feel that parents should allow underage drinking in their homes,” said her husband Bill. “I don’t feel like the whole story has come out; that remains our big issue. I want to see the truth come out.”

Many claims that adults were drinking alongside minors that night, but there was not enough evidence to convict.

And at the spot where Truncali died, the twisted bumper of the car left a mark that is still there today.

This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”
