Our very own Halifax Firefighters Jamie (Mr. December) & Tom (Mr. July) stopped by The BOUNCE studio yesterday morning to talk about their 2011 Firefighters calendar.
The calendar is to help send athletes to the 2011 World Police fire games in New York and also 20% of all calendar sales will go to the Nova Scotia Burn Treatment Society which is just amazing!
They have a kickoff party taking place on Friday, July 30th, at the Taboo and money raised will go to help pay for travel costs and accommodations as well as to the Nova Scotia Burn Treatment Society.
They are our local hero’s, when we’re running out of a burning building they’re running in, so this is a great way to say thank you and also to give to such a great cause like Nova Scotia Burn Treatment Society.
