There was no yacht or over-the-top festivities – just family and close friends as Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz tied the knot in a private ceremony Saturday in a private home on the Mediterranean Sea.

The bride wore a Grecian-inspired Vera Wang dress and carried a bouquet of purple calla lilies. The groom was decked out in a Tom Ford tuxedo. The couple’s friend Dr. Deepak Chopra presided over the nuptials.

The couple, who are also expecting their first child together, have been together since fall 2008. They announced their engagement and baby news in May.

It’s the first marriage for Keys, 29, and the couple’s first child together. While the newlyweds don’t know the gender of their baby, Beatz (real name: Kasseem Dean, 31) says the addition of a child will be nothing short of magical.

“Whatever we’re blessed with, that baby is being born to blessed parents,” he recently told PEOPLE. “Alicia is definitely one of those great parents-to-be. She’s super ready. Super glowing. Super happy.”

As much as I liked Chris you could see the chemistry between Ali and Roberto! I was so happy that they both had their happy ending. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Ali when the show first started but she grew on me and I respect her for how she handled things while on the show. None of the guys had a bad thing to say about her so that shows a lot of the person she is.

I vote for Chris to be the next Bachelor!!

SPOILER: Ali’s Choice Revealed on The Bachelorette

Ali Fedotowsky‘s search for love on The Bachelorette has ended. After starting out with 25 men, the former Facebook employee faced betrayal and heartbreak during her journey around the world, before ending up with two “amazing guys with big hearts.” Did she pick Chris or Roberto? By agreeing to be this season’s Bachelorette, Ali sacrificed her job, moved out of her apartment and abandoned life as she knew it. “I wanted to risk it all for love,” says Ali, who had to decide if either of her final two suitors — landscaper Chris Lambton, 33, and insurance agent Roberto Martinez, 26 — were right for her.

“They’re both great guys,” Ali said on Monday’s season finale, acknowledging that each man has nothing but the best to offer her. “But I need to pick who’s right for me.”

And she did! The risk paid off and Ali, 25, accepted Roberto’s marriage proposal in Bora Bora. It was apparent as she had her final date with him that she was truly smitten. After an adventure-filled day of jet-skiing, wading among a school of stingrays and picnicking on a private beach, the two shared passionate kisses as they lay in each other’s arms that night.

“I love Roberto,” Fedotowsky confessed, saying to the camera that despite having a date planned with Chris the next day, she didn’t want to say goodbye.

The following morning, Ali showed up for her date with Chris, but instead of going on an island adventure, she gently broke the news to him that he was not the one. “I’m in love with somebody else,” she said. “I have to let you go here and not wait till tomorrow.” Ali explained that she didn’t want Chris to have to go through the motions of showing up the next day to propose.

Chris, a true gentleman, wished Ali well. “Good luck tomorrow,” he said. “Go find out if he loves you, alright? You’re easy to love.” After giving Fedotowsky several more emotional embraces, he said goodbye.

Chris respected Ali’s honesty, and confessed, “As much as this situation hurts, I want to see her happy.”

The next day, all of the season’s drama went away when Roberto showed up to face Ali, who waited in a strapless yellow gown. “I’m one-hundred percent certain with all of my heart that Roberto is the man for me,” she said. “I can only hope that he feels the same way.”

He did.

Clearly wanting the moment to be special, Roberto took time to express his feelings. “You told me how important it was for your husband to love you unconditionally and to always be by your side no matter what,” he said. “I want to be that man for you. I want to make you laugh. I want to make you smile. I want to make sure you wake up every morning for the rest of your life knowing that you are so, so loved.”

“You’re the only guy here today,” Ali told him. “I love you so much.”

“I want to grow old with you,” Roberto said. “I want to share my life my life with you. Share my life with me?”

Then, he got down on one knee and pulled a Neil Lane engagement ring out of his pocket, opened the box and asked the million dollar question, “Ali Fedotowsky, will you marry me?”

“Oh my gosh! Yes! Yes!” she said. The two embraced and shared a long kiss before Ali remembered she had one final obligation. Picking up the last rose of the season, she looked into Roberto’s eyes and asked, “Aceptarías esta rosa?”

“Sí!” Roberto said, accepting the rose, before whisking her away in his arms. –Monica Rizzo

Snooki’s Mug Shot — Her Mascara Runneth Over

TMZ has obtained Snooki‘s mug shot — taken moments after the Seaside Heights PD arrested the “Jersey Shore” star for disorderly conduct Friday afternoon.

Snooki — aka Nicole Polizzi — was in held in custody for several hours … before she was released on her own recognizance.

As we previously reported, Snooki had been partying on the boardwalk earlier in the day with a beer bong … and at one point, she fell off of a bicycle.

Sources tell us Snooki went out to dinner with one of her cast members after the incident last night.

This trend must be handled very gingerly. Unless you are at the beach, wearing shorts will, in all likelihood, blow up in your face. Designers have thrown a big red herring at ordinary folk with the ridiculous shorts they put on the runways this season. At the top of the heap are hot pants. These control-top girdles, cut high in the derrière for demi-cheek exposure, can make you the object of derision. If, however, you enjoy dressing like a high-school majorette, this is the trend for you. Substitute black Givenchy stripper wedges for shiny white boots and you have the look.

The key is to dress counterintuitively. Don’t wear a bikini top and swimming cap with your satin-insert Marc Jacobs hot pants; instead, wear everything not normally worn with shorts, such as tailored blazers, scarves and dressy blouses. The idea is to look like you are going to cocktail party or a board meeting but forgot to put on pants. This is an ensemble that got a reaction even from taciturn Bob, a fisherman in a remote village on Vancouver Island where my family vacations. Bob was having a beer in front of the general store when I rolled up in my haute Huggies. “Is that what they’re wearin’ in Paris these days?” he asked with arched eyebrows. Even Bob will tell you that the problem with tucking a silk blouse into hot pants is that it makes it bunchy in the front. So I threw a Derek Lam blazer over it—a short, fitted jacket that was just imploring somebody to pat me on the rear. A boyfriend jacket was a better choice, except that I looked like a lady of the night being availed of a dinner jacket by a chivalrous john.

There’s no way around it: Absentee trousers put a lady at a serious disadvantage, especially when the article replacing them is best left to 1940s pin-ups. This is when I had my eureka moment: a Rachel Zoe faux-fox vest worn open over a black tank top and the troublesome hot pants, finished with Acne stilettos. I looked like I was about to straddle the hog of a Hell’s Angels underling and bomb off to a billiard-hall opening, but I consoled myself with the thought that I wasn’t half-dressed; I was half-fashionable.

Lindsay Lohan -Rehab for Meth and Bipolar Disorder

TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan will be treated for addiction to methamphethamine and bipolar disorder during her court ordered 90 days in rehab.

According to a source familiar with Lindsay’s case, methamphetamine and opiates are her “drugs of choice”.

Methamphetamine — also known as crystal meth or simply meth — is a highly addictive stimulant and opiates, generally, have more of a downer effect.

Morningside Recovery — the Orange County, CA rehab LiLo is scheduled to enter — lists opiate and methamphetamine detoxification among its specialties. As TMZ first reported, sources say Morningside was not on the list of facilities recommended by court appointed psychiatrists.

We’re told Lindsay will begin her rehab stint almost immediately after getting out of Lynwood Correctional Facility.

UPDATE: Lindsay’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley says, “I have never seen any psych report concerning Ms. Lohan which references a ‘bi-polar’ diagnosis or an addiction to ‘methamphetamine.’ I think this is a total fabrication.”

One important note … it has been widely reported that Lindsay takes the prescription drug Adderall, which is an amphetamine. Experts in the field of rehab and addiction tell TMZ there is a difference between amphetamine and methamphetamine.

We’re told it would not be common for a rehab facility to consider Adderall and methamphetamine the same drug.

Lindsay Lohan Released from Jail

Lindsay Lohan has been released from Lynwood Correctional Facility after serving 14 days behind bars.

A spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department told photogs gathered outside Lynwood that Lindsay was released at about 1:35 AM. She was taken to UCLA Medical Center to begin her rehab treatment.
