Our Secret Weapon for Bombshell Hair

Each week, the beauty department is sent hundreds of new products, which we review and test…and at least one become our “obsession-of-the-week.” The latest thing we’re all loving: Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, $39. Yes, it’s a tad pricey, but the oversized bottle (nearly double the size of most styling products) is sure to last, and it’s seriously magic. Not only does it add tons of volume, but it also absorbs oil –– awesome for those of us who don’t wash our hair everyday.

We went crazy over it…and the rest of the office heard our ooohs and ahhhs, so wanted us to spray them! Everyone kept getting the same results: tons of volume and serious (yet still touchable) texture.

Turns out we’re not the only ones who love it. After hearing about Matt Fugate’s obsession (he’s a top stylist at Sally Hershberger Salon in NYC), we asked him for his favorite ways to use the spray:

For Lots of Volume at the Roots:
Lift your hair up in sections, then blast the underside of your roots with the spray (make sure told hold the product a couple inches away so it disperses evenly). Then take your comb and tease the section in a downward motion –– going up and down creates knots.

To Fatten Up Your Ponytail:
Spray all over your strands, then massage in with your fingers before pulling it back. The spray adds texture so you have a nice, thick tail.

To Get an Instant Bedhead Look:
Flip your hair upside down, and spray the texturizing spray with one hand while you blowdry with the other hand. Then flip your head back up, and you’ll have tousled, piecey strands.

On Monday’s The Oprah Winfrey Show, Michael Jackson‘s older children speak for the first time about their late pop singer father.

Sitting down with Oprah Winfrey, Paris and Prince Michael Jackson say that never minded going out in public wearing bizarre face masks and veils. (Their grandmother Katherine Jackson tells Winfrey that the disguises were first suggested by Debbie Rowe, their biological mom.)

“When we did go out without our dad, other people wouldn’t recognize us,” Paris, 12, said. “He tried to raise us without [us] knowing who he was, but that didn’t go so well.”

Both Paris and Prince Michael, 13, are now enrolled in regular school; Paris hopes to be an actress, and Prince Michael wants to be a movie producer. (Shy little brother Blanket, 8, is still home-schooled.)

How was their world-famous dad — he died of an overdose at age 50 on June 25, 2009 — misunderstood?

 ”I kinda felt like no one understands what a good father he was,” Paris told Winfrey. “I’d say he was the best cook ever. He was just a normal dad, except he was the best dad.”

 The “Thriller” singer cooked for his kids? “He made the best French toast in the world,” Paris said.

Dina Lohan gave a status report on daughter Lindsay‘s extended stay at rehab.The troubled actress, 24, is “happy, relaxed,” at the Betty Ford Center Dina, 48, told Matt Lauer on The Today Show Monday.

“The Betty Ford Center is just an amazing place,” she gushed, calling it a “life-changing” experience.

It’s the fifth time in rehab for Lindsay, but her mom is cautiously hopeful that this time could be the last. “We’ll take it one day at a time,” Dina said. “I don’t have a crystal ball. I pray hard.”

But her famous daughter has new ambitions of her own. “She wants to start her own facilities, help other children,” Dina said. “She’s so public, we can only be positive and look to the future to help other families.”

Lohan is due to stay in rehab – she’s out of the center and “in a home,” said her mom – until Jan. 3. Lauer pointed out that last time Lindsay got out early. Might that happen again?

Lindsay is scheduled to stay the famous center until Jan. 3, but has often ended other rehab stints early. “Lindsay wants to stay,” Dina said. “She’s learning the trigger points and why she turns to something – drugs or addiction.”

Ain’t no other man like…Matthew Rutler?

Weeks after her announced split from husband Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera has been seeking comfort in a brand-new guy: Matthew Rutler, a set assistant whom she met while making her new film Burlesque.

“They’ve been on a few dates over the last few weeks,” a source tells UsMagazine.com.

Indeed, despite his attempts to hide, Rutler was photographed escorting Aguilera, 29, on a Friday double date at L.A.’s Soho House with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

But, cautions the source: “It’s not serious. She’s not looking to jump into a relationship right now. She has a lot going on with the movie and is focusing on spending as much time as possible with Max.”

Wed in 2005, the singer and producer Bratman, 33, have a two-year-old son, Max.

Aguilera and Rutler befriended one another while making Burlesque, and reconnected after her September separation from Bratman.

“He’s been really good for her and is helping her through this diffcult time,” the source explains.

Charlie Sheen is shrugging off all the talk over his alleged Oct. 25 meltdown in an NYC hotel suite.

“If a guy has one bad night everybody goes insane and panics,” Sheen told Extra. “I’m not panicking.”

During his supposed freakout, the Two and a Half Men star, 45, caused $7,000 worth of damage to his hotel room and lost a $150,000 Patek Phillippe 5970 watch.

“The way I look at it, if you have expensive tastes, you gotta be prepared for expensive losses,” he quipped.

 (Reportedly in the hotel room during Sheen’s drunken tantrum, porn star Capri Anderson called hotel security, claiming she felt threatened. No charges have been filed.)

Sheen, meanwhile, is back at work on his hit sitcom. “Doing great, just finished a show… [I'm] back to work. Everything’s good, everything’s good,” he said.

News: Morning BOUNCE Buzz

A masked man walked into McDonalds on Quinpool Road Monday morning with a knife

He demanded money from the cash register and the safe and than took off

Police say no one was hurt and that they’re still investigating.

 

RCMP say the man who was swept off the rocks Peggy’s Cove, is now considered a missing person.

Witnesses told police the he was pulled into water by a large wave Saturday and since than there’s been no sign of him.

His name hasn’t been released yet

Halifax police are investigating an attempted firebombing in the city’s north end.
It happened last night on Sunrise Walk in the Uniacke Square area.
Fire crews called in police,

And they found that the source of a small fire in the empty building was from a device containing an accelerant.
Two other similar devices were thrown into the building but didn’t ignite.
