About One In Six Guys Gives Flowers On Valentine’s Day

To me I don’t think you need one day like Valentine’s Day to show someone you love them, you should do that all the time so to me if we were going to celebrate it I rather a card something from the heart I can hang on to and cherish. I rather get flowers any other day when I’m not expecting it :)

About One In Six Guys Gives Flowers On Valentine’s Day

Just To Avoid Being Yelled At

a quarter of the guys who give flowers on Valentine’s Day say that they’re doing it because they don’t want to get YELLED AT.

Another 26% say they give flowers on Valentine’s Day so their significant other isn’t DISAPPOINTED.

The rest say they give flowers as a way to, quote, “express their love.”

More than three out of four guys have given flowers for Valentine’s Day in the past two years.

Coffee makes women smarter and men dumber.

Researchers placed 64 men and women in same-sex pairs before each couple was given a task to complete like negotiating, doing puzzles, and taking memory tests.

Half of the test subjects were given decaf coffee, while the other half received cups containing a large shot of caffeine.

Researchers discovered that men who drank the caffienated coffee faired poorly in memory tests and took twenty seconds longer to complete the puzzles than the decaf drinkers.

Women who drank caffienated coffee finished their puzzles 100 seconds faster than those who drank decaf.

Miley Cyrus Gets Tattoo No. 5 | Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has added another tattoo to her collection.

The 18-year-old singer-actress now has a dream catcher inked on her torso, a friend close to Cyrus tells PEOPLE.

“It’s a picture of the dream catcher that hangs over her bed with four feathers to represent her four brothers and sisters,” says the friend. (Miley’s siblings are Brandi, 23, Trace, 21, Braison, 16, and Noah, 11.) “The dream catcher is to protect them.”

That brings Cyrus’s current tattoo tally up to five.

She also has a heart and a small cross on her fingers, the word ‘love” on her ear and the phrase “just breathe” on her rib cage in honor of a close friend who died of cystic fibrosis.

“All of Miley’s tattoos have a deep meaning to her,” says the friend. “They all represent family and friends close to her.”

Top 7 Diet Myths Debunked: Diet Facts Revealed

Dieting

Some “diet facts” are repeated so often that women can be pretty convinced that they know everything there is to know about fat, carbs and hunger. But when you peel back the platitudes and look at the research, the truth about eating healthy food — and what fills you up and what trims you down can surprise you. Find out thereal truth about these common diet myths.

Diet myth 1: Only eat when you’re hungry.
Diet facts: Researchers at the National Weight Control Registry (NWCR) report that spacing food evenly throughout the day is key to weight-loss success. People who eat healthy food at regular intervals, starting with breakfast, are better nourished, think more clearly and report fewer mood swings than those who eat erratically. Meal skippers are more prone to weight problems probably because once they do eat, they eat too much of all the wrong stuff. People who successfully maintain a healthy weight eat nutritious foods every four to five hours, regardless of whether it’s a weekday, weekend or holiday.
People often think they can save calories by skipping meals, but most people more than make up for those saved calories at other times of the day. Keeping track of calories with a food journal is a great way to stay on track throughout the day.

Your daily horoscope

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY:

Everything will speed up over the coming 12 months. Life will be experienced at such a frenetic pace that sometimes you’ll wonder how you manage to keep up. But you will – in fact you’ll be ahead of the game more often than not.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Not everything in life can be explained logically and what happens today will most likely make you question a belief you have always taken for granted. That’s good: it’s limiting (and even dangerous) to think you know it all.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The more others complain about what you are doing the more you will keep on doing it. You would think by now they might have worked out that the one thing you don’t say to Taurus is “Cannot”. Some people are very slow learners.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You like surprises, especially when you are the one calling the shots, and what you say or do over the next 24 hours is clearly designed to amaze those who don’t share your sense of adventure. Enjoy the look on their faces.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

These may be anxious times for you but if you stand back from your life and see it as a whole, rather than just focus on individual things that are going wrong, you will see that you are still making progress. It’s all good.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Because you like to make up your mind quickly it annoys you when others dither over what should be a simple decision. Today though the tables will be reversed and you’ll be the one who keeps everyone else waiting. Serves them right!

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Approach a chore you have to do with energy and enthusiasm. Not only will you make a thoroughly good job of it, which will do your reputation no harm at all, but you may discover a talent you never knew you had.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Not everything will work out the way you expect it to today but with the sun linked to Mars in the most dynamic area of your chart it won’t worry you in the slightest. You’ll just get on and do something else.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Certain people may be leaving out facts and figures that could affect the decisions you make today, so be sure you know what is going on before putting pen to paper. Listen to your Scorpio intuition. It knows all the answers.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Forget about trivial matters and focus only on the big issues today. Socially this should be a day to remember but you’ll enjoy it more if you avoid people whose interests are superficial. You need deep conversation.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Partners and colleagues will be rather touchy over the next 24 hours, so watch what you say. Fortunately, as Venus moves into your birth sign today you want to create harmony rather than conflict, so sarcasm is definitely out!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The sun’s union with Mars in your sign will give you buckets of energy today and you won’t be short of things to expend it on either. Others will come to you for advice and assistance and you’ll go out of your way to help.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Keep your innermost secrets to yourself today, no matter how tempted you may be to let a friend or family member in on what you’ve been up to. Chances are they won’t understand, no matter how hard you try to explain.
