How Much Money You Could Save By Moving In Together

In theory, moving in together with your boyfriend or girlfriend for financial reasons is probably not the smartest move.

if you are doing it for financial reasons you’ll spend 41% MORE than a single person.

But since you’re both contributing, that means you’ll both spend 30% less than if you lived apart.

OUR DAILY BLOG POST

Kids are just the cutiest and clips like the one below is a perfect example of it!

Blog brought to you by Chatters Salon!

A brother/sister “metal” band — they call themselves Murp — is making the blog rounds, thanks to a rather passionate performance of the original tune, “Don’t Brush My Hair in Knots,” by its 3-year-old frontgirl.

The childhood trauma of having your knotty hair brushed is now immortalized in punk rock.

The little singer also has an acoustic number on YouTube called “Everything is Pretty.”

A Study Finds that Married Women Are Happier Than Unmarried Women Who Live With Their Man

According to a new study, women might CONVINCE themselves that they’re happy shacking up with a guy and not getting married . . . but until they get a ring and a piece of paper that says “marriage certificate” on it, they’re secretly depressed.

–Researchers studied more than 22,000 women around the world, and found that in every country, married women were ultimately happier than unmarried women who live with their guy.

–They did find that in countries where cohabitation is more popular, there’s less of a happiness difference between married and unmarried women.

Style Memo: Bright Colored Jeans

I love this trend… I don’t know if I’m bold enough to pull off bright colored jean but I do have bright leggings so maybe… I do like how fun they are for this season and for summer too!

Style Memo: Bright Colored Jeans

Wake up your spring wardrobe with this season’s hottest trend: bright colored jeans. Cameron Diaz worked a salmon pair of Rag & Bones ($165 rag-bone.com), Anna Kendrick made a bold statement in kelly green Rag & Bones ($165 rag-bone.com) and Kim Kardashian stepped out in royal blue J Brand 811′s ($176, 323-852-5000).

Other celeb faves to try: Current/Elliott’s Ankle Skinny in Dahlia ($168, revolveclothing.com) and J Brand 811 in Bright Yellow ($176, ronherman.com). However, you don’t have to break the bank to rock this look. I found an awesome version from Dickies (remember them?!), which comes in hot pink, red and aqua. ($30, dickies.com)

Some pointers for pulling it off: First, stick to a skinny style so the bold color doesn’t overpower your look. Next, keep the rest of your outfit relatively simple. Think a classic white tee with a layered necklace. I also love a black leather jacket with bright jeans. As for accessories, try a nude pump, sandal or chic black bootie. At night you can experiment with a more colorful shoe. Remember, you want to keep the look about the jean, so don’t overdo the rest and have fun with it!

Lady Gaga Goes Down HARD During Live Show

Lady GaGa is a true performer… she went down hard in front of a live audience and kept going as if it never happened I would have been so embarrassed but hey things happen lol!

http://www.tmz.com/2011/04/11/lady-gaga-falls-piano-crashes-concert-houston-video-footage/

Lady Gaga fell off a piano and landed head first on the cold, hard stage in Houston yesterday during a live concert … and the whole thing was caught on tape.
Gaga appeared to be unfazed by the fall — getting right back up and singing her face off like nothing happened.  Total. Pro.

Your daily horoscope

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY:

A Mercury-Jupiter link on your birthday will fill your head with big ideas but are they really practical? It will pay you to get the advice of an expert before committing your time or your money. Only start what you will be able to finish.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

The more you may be tempted to take some kind of risk today the more you should remind yourself that there is really no need. Everything is going fine for you now. Why jeopardize your considerable gains just to get a little bit more?

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

No matter where you are or what you are doing you must stay positive. Keep reminding yourself that what looks like a problem now won’t be a problem for much longer – in fact it may not be a problem at all. It’s about perspective.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If you make an error of some kind today you must put it right the first chance you get. No one will blame you for making an honest mistake but they will blame you if you fail to rectify it. Act quickly – it’s what you’re good at.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

While Mercury, planet of the mind, is moving retrograde you cannot afford to take chances, especially if there is money involved. If you are not entirely sure you are doing the right thing today it might be better to do nothing at all.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Be careful what you say today because a rival is looking for a reason to catch you out and make you look bad. Don’t make it easy for them by exaggerating your achievements. You really don’t have to – you’re already a star.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If you have any skeletons in your closet, no matter how minor they might be, you must have a plan for when they become public knowledge. You know it will happen sooner or later so start thinking now about how to protect your reputation.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Do whatever it takes to stay cool, calm and collected. With Mercury close to Jupiter in your opposite sign someone, somewhere will say things that are designed to provoke you, but you don’t have to rise to the bait. Ignore them.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

It’s good of you to take your responsibilities seriously but don’t let them take over your entire life. Do things for other people if you can, but not at the expense of what you should be doing for yourself. Charity begins at home.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Jupiter, your ruler, is on fine form and no doubt you think you can do anything you please. Maybe you can but you should still be wary of someone who tries to coax you into taking a big risk today. Let them try it first.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You are not responsible for all the bad things that happen in other people’s lives, so don’t get depressed just because you can’t save everyone from their follies. The best way to make your mark on the world is to be a good example.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Stick with what you have got, at least for the moment, and don’t get greedy just because other people possess what you do not. From their point of view you are the one who has got it all in the things that really matter.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Some people are seriously lacking in common sense and one such individual needs your help today. Do what you can to get them out of a jam but don’t let it adversely affect your own professional or financial standing. You don’t owe them.
