Hef’s Not Getting Married Anymore

He’ll do fine with his playmates by his side!

Crystal Harris, 25, called off the nuptials on Tuesday, just days before they were to tie the knot, Saturday at the Playboy Mansion.

“The wedding is off,” Hefner Tweeted. “Crystal has had a change of heart.”

“After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef,” Harris wrote on her website. “I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time.”

More than 300 people had been invited – via Papeterie custom-made invitations – to their big day, which called for a pink Romona Keveza gown and Torrance Bakery strawberry cake.

This would have been the third marriage for Hefner, 85, who filed for divorce in 2009 from his second wife, former playmate Kimberly Conrad. He was previously married to Mildred Williams, whom he divorced in 1959.

“I heard the sad news today this morning,” Harris’s manager Michael Blakey tells PEOPLE. “The split was a mutual decision and the two remain good friends.”

Portman, 30, met choreographer Millepied on the set of Black Swan, for which she later won an Oscar for Best Actress.

In December the couple announced that they were engaged and expecting their first child.

Arnold’s Mistress Reveals More!

There will always be news surrounding these people!

In an interview with Hello! Magazine, Baena finally reveals the name of the 13-year-old love-child — Joseph — and says when he found out Arnold was his father, his reaction was, “Cool!”

During the interview, Mildred says Maria sensed “something was up” after hearing “whispers” in the household about Joseph’s resemblance to Arnold.

Mildred explained, “[Maria] would say things like, ‘I’m here if you need to talk.’ I sensed something was up. I have so much love and respect for Maria.”

Mildred says Maria finally asked her “point blank” — and Mildred was so emotional, she fell down on her knees in front of her.

“She was so strong. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn’t Arnie’s fault, that it takes two.”

And despite reports that Joseph had only recently found out that Arnold was his father, Mildred says it isn’t true — Joseph has known for the last year … and has carried the secret ever since.

Mildred says Joseph is now looking forward to building a relationship with his biological father.

Your daily horoscope

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY:

A lunar eclipse on your birthday will force you to rethink your plans. Most of all you will need to consider the effects of your actions on other people. Remember: big changes can lead to big consequences, and not just for you.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You will be in a restless mood today. No matter how well things are going where you are now you will want to be some place else. Maybe it’s time to start planning your next vacation. Create something to look forward to.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Money matters and family issues must be handled with care today. Above all you must not allow your emotions to dictate how you respond, because that will almost certainly end in trouble, and maybe even disaster. Use your head.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Because today’s lunar eclipse falls in your opposite sign you will find yourself at odds with a partner or loved one over something trivial. What happened to compromise and mutual respect? You don’t need this kind of grief.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you overdo it in any way today you will suffer physically or mentally, so promise yourself now that you will steer clear of extremes. Nothing in life is worth getting worked up about. Make that your motto from now on.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Is a plan or project that has been close to your heart for some time worth carrying on with? Give it some thought today but don’t make any final decisions until the end of the week – you’ll be thinking more clearly then.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Some kind of dissent or disruption is likely today, especially on the home front where feelings are running high. Try not to react in a heavy-handed way as that will just make matters worse. Be more understanding and accepting.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Take care when travelling today because you may be inclined to take silly risks. Be careful too when revealing your innermost thoughts. Some of your opinions won’t sit well with those who are set in their intellectual ways.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If your head tells you one thing but your heart tells you another you are advised to favour logic over longing. You may be passionate by nature but some passions are best avoided, especially in the shadow of a lunar eclipse!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Today’s lunar eclipse in your sign is a warning to steer clear of extremes. No matter how much certain people may annoy you there is nothing to gain by getting angry. Don’t make it easy for them to manipulate your feelings.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Today’s eclipse falls in the most sensitive area of your chart, so you’ll be quite touchy over the next 24 hours. If you do lash out at someone who upsets you make a point of apologizing the moment you come to your senses.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Everyone seems to be hypercritical at the moment, and it does not help that you so obviously need their approval. Instead of relying on other people’s ideas and opinions why not have more faith in your own?

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Upheavals on the work front are inevitable but the changes that come about will benefit you in the long-term, so don’t be alarmed. Ultimately, all change is good change, though it may not seem that way at the time.

Facebook Statistics

Facebook. I’m too addicted to ever delete it!

Image via Perez Hilton

Last month, nearly 6 million people in the U.S. deleted their Facebook accounts, bringing the total number of active users in the United States from 155.2 million to 149.4 million.

Canada also lost 1.52 million users, and the U.K., Norway, and Russia lost over 100,000 users each.

Here’s what tracking service Inside Facebook’s Eric Eldon had to say about the drop:

“By the time Facebook reaches around 50 percent of the total population in a given country (plus or minus, depending on Internet access rates in that country), growth generally slows to a halt. So far, Facebook has been able to make up stalls and losses with big gains in heavily populated developing countries like Mexico, Brazil, India and Indonesia.”

And here’s what CEO of Law360.com Magnus Hoglund had to say about it:

“From my experience, I get the sense that being on Facebook is not cool anymore. The early adopters and trend-setters are moving away. [But] these are also exactly the type of people brand advertisers want to reach; if they are leaving, it doesn’t look good for Facebook.”
