Women Don’t Like to Ask For Directions Either

I always seem to get lost even sometimes with my GPS which makes no sense but I can say that I have no problem asking for directions because I’m usually late and if I can cut some of time down I will lol!

I will say that I have a lot of male friends my dad and brother included that they will never ask for directions haha yeah not fun when you know that they are going in circles!

Ever since stereotypes were invented, there’s been one about how men don’t like to ask for directions. That’s about as generic as it gets.

–according to a new survey, it’s true. Men don’t like to ask for directions. But women don’t really like to ask for them either.

–In this day and age, both genders just want their GPS to give them directions.

–The survey found that around 30% of men and 50% of women say they would still be willing to ask a person for directions.

Yes, women are more likely to ask than men . . . but it’s not a gigantic difference at ALL.

–The survey also found that 13% of women and 5% of men say they have a bad sense of direction.

The “Today” show and Parenting.com surveyed more than 26,000 moms, and asked them to reveal some of their biggest secrets.

According to a new study, if you want to stop buying so many clothes, it’s easy . . . just go shopping with a bunch of people who are HOTTER than you.

–The researchers found that if a woman tried something on at a store and no one else there was wearing it or trying it on, she’d probably like it.

–But if she saw someone with a better body trying it on . . . or a sexier salesperson wearing it . . . she would think it looked better on that person and be MUCH less likely to buy it.

Zac and Family Need Our Support

Zaccary was born February 2009 to Angela and Chris Connolly. He has always been excited to learn and explore the world around him. He rarely complains about anything.

On May 24, 2011 Zac was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma a cancer that develops from nerve tissue and occurs mainly in infants and children. Neuroblastoma can occur in many areas of the body. It develops from the tissues that form the sympathetic nervous system. The cause of the tumor is unknown and currently, Zac has three tumors Neuroblastoma is most commonly diagnosed in children before age 5.

His parents are remaining strong and encouraging Zac to continue this battle, but it will be a long and hard one. Given the extensive procedures and the severity of the situation we are asking that people please help Zac and his family during this difficult time.

Police responded to a bank robbery at the CIBC on Barrington Street in downtown Halifax
A man had entered the bank, demanded money from staff and then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was tracked to the corner of Spring Garden Road and Robie Street, where he was arrested and a quantity of money was recovered.
