Amateur Alex Visits Occupy Nova Scotia!

Amateur Alex visited Occupy Nova Scotia this morning to find out exactly what they do there. He had a little bit of fun with it, cracking some jokes, but the core knowledge of why the protesters are there is still relevant and in tact. One gentleman was grateful to share his knowledge of the situation. Watch the video!

He also asked about Remembrance Day and a young lady was nice enough to speak her thoughts:

My get-up slightly scared the protesters, but the whole thing shed some light on what they do there. I think it was a successful morning. Video’s and pictures of me in action will be up soon! -Amateur Alex

Kim Kardashian: I Married for Love – Not TV

I can understand where she is coming from when she said that she felt pressured and couldn’t break things off because so many people were depending on her to make this happen… it’s sad that it got this far!

Kim Kardashian has a message for anyone who questions her motives for marrying Kris Humphries – and then filing for divorce just 72 days later.

“I married for love,” the reality star writes in a new blog post on her website. “I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!”

Kardashian and Humphries tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in August that was taped for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. On Monday, she filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

But it’s the televised wedding – not the divorce – she now feels was a mistake.

“I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision,” she writes. “I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have.”

“I got caught up with the hoopla,” the post continues, “and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.”

Kardashian, who jetted to Australia Monday to launch a new line of purses, explains that her decision to call it quits – which “devastated” her husband – was tough but, ultimately, the right one to make.

“I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon,” she writes on her blog. “I have to follow my heart. I never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me.”

Continues the post: “It just didn’t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.”

And just in case anyone was wondering about the gifts the 440 wedding guests gave the couple, Kardashian has an answer for that, too.

“I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding,” she writes. “I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.”

Your daily horoscope

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY:

Even if you are the kind of Scorpio who prefers to stick with what you know and trust you will be remarkably adventurous over the coming year. You feel you have been much too timid in the past, and you intend to make up for it.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You have no fear at the moment and will follow your desires wherever they might lead. That’s great, but steer clear of anything too excessive – or you may regret it when the moon is full on the 10th.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

As easygoing Venus moves into the area of your chart that governs your material wealth today you must take care that you are not too generous for your own good. Don’t give away what should remain yours.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Cosmic activity in your opposite sign encourages you to accept that other people’s opinions and your opinions differ in legitimate ways. You don’t have to agree with everything they think or say to be able to get along.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Watch out you don’t get carried away with your own brilliance today. If you do you could regret it later on when you discover that you have missed something of major importance. It could be both costly and embarrassing.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Today’s cosmic developments will do wonders for your confidence and encourage you to believe that anything is possible. However, you would be wise to limit yourself to areas of activity where you know what you are doing.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You may not be the most emotional member of the zodiac but you will feel deeply for someone today. This is the perfect time to let loved ones know how much you care for them. Don’t just say it – prove it.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

There is a danger that in your eagerness to get ahead and get the most from each and every situation you will overlook some small but important detail. Slow down a bit – or something unexpected may slow you down!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

It’s not like you to be free and easy with money but you are in one of those moods where you really don’t care how much you spend. Yes, of course, it’s only bits of paper, but keep some in reserve anyway.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You need a challenge that will bring out the best in you and you will get it over the next few days. As both Mercury and Venus move into your sign today you won’t be short on confidence. You’ll need it.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Others may say that you are aiming too high but what do they know of your capabilities? Nothing. There is no limit to what you can accomplish now, so believe in yourself and make impossible things happen.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

What happens over the next two or three days will open your eyes to new possibilities and you will be amazed how much you have missed and how limited your horizons have been. Get back on track quickly.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You must play by the rules today, even if you know you can get away with cutting corners. What happens a week or so from now will not be pleasant if people in positions of power discover you’ve cheated.
