Should Couples Be Married Before They Get a Dog Together?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for two years, and she wants us to get a dog that we’ll own “together.” –As much as I want a dog, I’m not sure I want to get one with her. –Things may not work out between us, and I don’t want to get into an ugly custody battle over who gets the dog if we break up. –Should couples be married before they decide to get a dog together? –Did anyone get a dog with a girlfriend or boyfriend, and it didn’t work out?

Congratulations to Jay-Z and Beyonce! After much speculation and false starts the couple welcomed their first child on Saturday.

It’s a girl!!!

And her name is…

Ivy Blue Carter!!!

Beyonce checked into the upper East Side’s Lenox Hill hospital on Friday night under the name “Ingrid Jackson”.

She gave birth on Saturday via C-section.

According to the NY Daily News:

On Saturday night, people were seen bringing bags of takeout and a dozen bottles of red wine onto the heavily guarded hospital wing.

After 11 p.m., even doctors and nurses were barred from entering the fourth floor, prompting one doc to complain that he had patients to see.

In an effort to keep images from leaking to the public, hospital workers placed tape over security cameras and are forcing employees to turn in cell phones when they arrive for their shifts, a source said.

Several security guards were spotted patrolling the perimeter of the hospital Saturday night.

And THAT is how a diva gives birth!

Boom!!!

Should I Let My Fiance Invite His Ex-Girlfriend to Our Wedding? (Rating: PG)

My fiancé and I are getting married this August, and we’re narrowing down our guest list.

–It’s going to be a small wedding, nothing too crazy . . . so I’m only inviting family members and close friends.

–My fiancé, on the other hand, wants to invite his ex-girlfriend to the wedding. They’re still close friends, and he thinks she should be there.

–Needless to say, I don’t really want her there. She and my fiancé dated for five years, and she’s single, so she won’t be bringing a date.

–I also don’t want my husband thinking about any other woman but me on our wedding day.

–Is it normal for couples to invite their exes to weddings? Am I right to tell my fiancé his ex-girlfriend can’t be at ours?

I would really like to learn how to change a tire… I’ve watched it be done many times but I would really like to do it myself and see if I do it correctly because you never know when you’ll have to do it.

And I’m ok with over packing one carry on while I vacation isn’t for me hahahah!!

Skills Every Woman Should Master – The Top 5

1. Change a tire. And no, using a can of “Fix a Flat” doesn’t count. an excellent YouTube tutorial — but I won’t judge you if carry a some “Fix a Flat” with you for back up.

2. Change your oil. It’s silly to pay someone $25 to do something that’ll take you 15 minutes to do yourself.

3. Say “no”/change the subject/turn someone down with class. My favorite way to deal with awkward/unwelcome questions is to say, “Oh, you! Now tell me about your [insert new topic here].”

4. Travel with only a carry on. Yes. For realz. I know you can do it! a tutorial on packing in your purse!

5. Hook up a computer.

Your daily horoscope

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY:

The most important thing over the coming 12 months is that you communicate clearly and simply, both in your personal life and at work. If people know what it is you expect of them they are more likely to deliver the goods.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You won’t hesitate to speak your mind today, but be careful what you say to loved ones because the full moon could make them exceptionally touchy. It will take the rest of the week to get back in their good books.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You can and you will do as you please this week, but don’t do things just to annoy other people. And don’t focus on trivial issues when there are so many big things that need to be dealt with.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Be careful when dealing with money matters and business issues, because the full moon warns that a risk that pays off in the short-term could cause you serious financial problems in the long-term.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Someone will let you down today and you won’t be too happy about it. However, if you think about it rationally you will realize that it was your fault for trusting them in the first place. They’ve let you down before.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Try not to let your imagination get the better of you over the next 24 hours, especially if you are the kind of Leo who tends to read serious things into minor situations. Not everything has to be a performance you know.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If something goes wrong today there are two approaches you can take: you can find someone to blame, or you can take responsibility and set about fixing it. A positive outlook will most likely yield constructive results.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Today’s full moon suggests there will be a clash of egos, and although you may not be directly involved you may well get caught in the middle. Do not – repeat, not – favour one side over the other. Stay neutral.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You will lock horns (or trade stings) with someone whose views are the opposite of your own today. Having said which, if you both cool down for a moment you may realize you actually agree on certain issues.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You will find yourself up against an opponent who is every bit as determined as you are today. In which case it might be best to agree a truce. Why waste time and energy on battles that cannot be won?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Be careful what you say today because the full moon in your opposite sign could so easily encourage you to say too much. Once the emotional floodgates open there may be no stopping the tide of feelings, both positive and negative.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Friends and colleagues will tell you what you want to hear today rather than what you need to hear. But you don’t need anyone to tell you that you are doing too much. How can you streamline your everyday routine?

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may believe that if you hesitate you will miss out on a golden opportunity, and you may be right. But it’s just as likely that you will act too soon and make a serious mistake. What’s the hurry? Take your time
