“I decided I’m going to run for the mayor of Glendale,” Kim Kardashian said to sister Khloe while driving past the Ross Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, Texas in an unaired clip from Khloe’s hit E! show Khloe & Lamar.
“But it’s gonna be in, like, five years,” she adds.
And while Kim and friend Noelle Keshishian are looking into the requirements into attaining her future position of power; Glendale’s City Clerk and a pair of Councilmen are throwing their support behind the socialite.
Councilman Ara Najarian tells the Los Angeles Times that he’s offered Kim the title of “Honorary Chief of Staff”; and clerk Ardashes Kassakhian told the Times that Kim running for election would be a good thing publicity-wise.
“I think it would be one of the more closely followed elections in Glendale’s history,” he says.
And Councilman Rafi Manoukian tells E! News, “I would support her. I think she would make an excellent mayor.”
Unfortunately for Kim, one does not just run for Mayor in the California city. Eligible candidates run for one of the five positions on the City Council, and then the Council chooses one of its members to serve as Mayor – after they’ve held their position for a minimum of four years – for a single year term.
So why does Kim want the position?
“Because it’s, like, Armenian town,” she says.
Like Kardashian, Glendale is known for its Armenian heritage and much of the population shares the same ethnic background.
In a statement released to Us Magazine, Kim’s rep says, “Kim has always looked for opportunities to grow and also do what she can to help and support the Armenian community.
“She’s learning more about ways in which she can help to do her part to make a difference in the community.”
Khloe, barely paying attention to Kim’s revelation of her future plans in the video (watch it below), seemed more interested in the Perot Museum and yelling at traffic.
“I’m gonna be the mayor of Dallas… mom said,” she says.

The prediction was made in a research paper examining what the sex industry will be like in the year 2050.
Ian Yeoman and Michelle Mars of the Victoria Management School in Wellington, New Zealand, wrote about an imaginary brothel in Amsterdam’s red-light district called Yub-Yum.
The research paper titled Robots, Men And Sex Tourism describes the brothel as being “modern and gleaming with about 100 scantily clad blondes and brunettes parading around in exotic G-strings and lingerie”, io9 reports.
They said clients would pay $9500 for an “all-inclusive service”, featuring lap dances and intercourse from “a range of sexual gods and goddesses of different ethnicities, body shapes, ages, languages and sexual features”.
