Lifeguards at Lawrencetown Beach yesterday spotted what they thought was a shark swimming close to shore. They ordered everyone out of the water as the beach was shut down for an hour. A local surfer says he’s never seen Lawrencetown beach closed. The beach re-opened later Thursday afternoon.

And It’s a different kind of missing case. A ball python is missing from an apartment in Dartmouth.

The Elderly man had two young men forcing him down to his basement by gunpoint. They demanded the keys to his car and pushed the homeowner to the floor as they robbed his house. Police are currently investigating.
